About Electrol Home

Hank Allen founded Electrol Company, Inc. in 1961; initial work was panel builds for a large medical equipment company. The business expanded into cable and wire harness assemblies throughout the 1960s. This growth compelled Electrol to move to a 10,000 sq. ft. plant in Nashotah, WI in the early 1970s.

Mr. Allen sold the company to Robin Brunsch in 1995. Mr. Brunsch moved Electrol to their current 30,000 sq. ft. facility in North Lake, WI; this plant has allowed the company to grow significantly and provide greater capacity and many more offerings to their customers. ISO 9002 certification was achieved in 1995 and has been maintained ever since with Underwriters Laboratories as the registrar. Electrol is currently certified to the ISO 9001:2000 specification.

Innovative Manufacturing Solution (IMS) Corporation purchased Electrol in 1998. The strength of IMS Corp. has allowed Electrol to continually grow and upgrade their equipment and processes and thus provide greater value to their customers. IMS Electrol provides this value through outstanding engineering and customer support, short lead-times, Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) systems, and a very active Kanban program.
